T.I.P. Production T.I.P. Assembly instruction

T.I.P. (2026) is a practical small stool or table with a few components that can be assembled with just your hands and a wooden mallet. It is a traditional wedge construction that holds the seat/top and legs together, where the wedge itself becomes a detail that gives the stool a unique identity. T.I.P. stands for Tradition. Innovation. Purpose. The stool/table is developed based on how the technical possibilities of a five-axis CNC can challenge traditional craft techniques.

T.I.P. is made of wood that has been left over from our furniture manufacturing. It can be the light elements of the surface wood and the dark of the core that are combined in wide and narrow slats that give the seat its unique pattern and character. It is Bosse and Kent, who cuts the planks and boards, who decides which wood to use. Each stool/table is therefore completely unique and simply shows the wood as it is. If you want to hide it, the stool is also available with an upholstered seat.

T.I.P. is made of oak, ash, standard stains on ash or white pigment on oak or ash, where the chair seat consists of slats in solid wood. The wedge is made of solid wenge which is a residual material that has been in our warehouse for many years. The surface finish is clear varnish or linseed oil.

We also offer the pallet seat/table top, with its slats, in a randomly mixed design where our carpenters mix a dark wood with ash or oak. It can be wenge, cherry, heat-treated solid wood or any other wood type depending on what is on our shelves.

Use T.I.P. as extra stools, as a solitaire or in a group or as a small table next to an armchair or a sofa.
