Sami Kallio (1975), born in Finland and grown up in Sweden. He is a name when it comes to chairs, with countless modern classics. With a background as a cabinetmaker, he is firmly rooted in the Scandinavian furniture tradition, but all the time with a designer's eye fixed forward. His studio, located in Gothenburg, functions as both a carpentry and design agency. Here the details are refined, the ideas matured and become reality.
