Lina Nordqvist (born 1979) has studied at Beckmans College of Design Stockholm and elsewhere. After many years’ experience as a set designer for the Scandinavian film industry, she now works with design and set design for clients in both the public and private sectors. Lina is fascinated by objects that radiate a sense of form, colour or individuality that transcends their function or field of application. In 2009 Lina Nordqvist won the ‘Accent on Design’ award in New York, and in 2010 she received the Swedish interior design magazine ELLE Interiör’s prize for ‘Chair of the Year’. Karl Andersson & Söner presented her Level bookshelf at the 2012 Stockholm Furniture Fair.
