Front design Skala Design (Lasse Pettersson and Lennart Notman), is a wall-mounted or freestanding storage system that can be used to store and display newspapers, magazines, envelopes, forms, books, pictures, letters, postcards, photos, journals, posters, notices and brochures, or as pigeon-holes for post or messages, as well as for hanging clothes or even for decorative floral displays on walls, tables, etc.

Front panel, designed in 2005, is available both with and without ledges for straight (vertical) or sloping glass. Panels comes in three heights – 800, 1140 and 1550 mm – and three widths – 250, 500 and 1000 mm. Choose from a wooden display surface with ledges with straight (vertical) or sloping glass, a combination with a noticeboard in grey cork linoleum or covered in any of the numerous colours of Europost fabric from Gabriel, a magnetic whiteboard, optic white glass writing board, or a mirror. The panel is secured to the wall using a metal rail.

Front components include glass-fronted ledges, coat racks, a glass planter, display boards, panels, storage shelves, flexible panels, display cabinet, shelf and freestanding screens – all available in oak, birch and a choice of eight standard colours. Choose from glass fronts in heights of 32, 150 and 230 mm. Tempered clear glass comes as standard; plexiglass and frosted glass, made-to-measure sizes, other types of wood, colours and surface treatments are available on request. Accessories include wooden dividers that slot on top of the glass fronts to divide each shelf into compartments, magnets for the whiteboard and castors for Front freestanding units.
