Junichi Tokuda

Junichi Tokuda (1979), designer MFA.

Junichi has studied Interior Architecture and Furniture Design at the University of Chiba in Japan, and Design at the University of Gothenburg’s School of Design and Crafts. Since graduating in 2002 he has worked in an interior architecture firm and designed furniture, on occasions together with David Regestam in Japan. For Karl Andersson & Söner, the two have designed Steelo (2012): this contemporary take on the traditional ottoman is full of character, exhibiting light-heartedness in the interplay of contrasts while, at the same time, making full use of the properties of the materials from which it is made.
