Carlos Tiscar

Carlos Tiscar (born 1964) is a graduate of the Valencia School of Applied Arts and Design and studied industrial design in Milan at the Scuola Politecnica di Design. He started his professional career with the Factoría Diseño industrial group before co-founding the Gesto Design Management consultancy. In 1993 he opened his own studio in Valencia, Spain. In addition to his work as a designer, Carlos also lectures in industrial design in a number of schools and institutions in and around Valencia. His straightforward language of design has an immediate appeal. Altavoz shelving was presented to the market by Karl Andersson & Söner in 2011.
