Staffan Holm

Design: Newton

Staffan Holm (born in 1977) graduated from the HDK School of Design and Crafts at the University of Gothenburg in 2008. He is eager to lend greater emotional significance to the essential aspects of function so that we become more attached to our possessions and keep them longer. Together with Dan Sunaga, Staffan designed the Newton table for Karl Andersson & Söner in 2009. Newton is a series of tables that plays on the way designs can be created by external physical processes.
